1. Who we are
EasyQuoting ("we", "us", "our") is a web application that helps freelancers and small businesses create professional quotes, estimates, and invoices. Our service is available at www.easyquoting.app.
2. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a display name. This information is used to identify you within the app and to send you account-related communications.
Business data you provide
To use EasyQuoting, you may provide company details, client names and contact information, product and service descriptions and pricing, quote and invoice content, and payment amounts. This data is stored securely in your account and is never sold or shared with third parties.
Usage data
We may collect anonymized usage metrics (pages visited, features used) to improve the product. We do not track individual behavior for advertising purposes.
3. How we use your information
- To provide and operate the EasyQuoting service
- To send transactional emails (account creation, quote sharing, contact form responses)
- To process subscription payments via Stripe
- To improve product features and fix bugs
- To comply with legal obligations
4. Data storage and security
Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), a secure, GDPR-compliant cloud database. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We apply strict Firestore security rules to ensure users can only access their own data.
Payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS certified payment processor. EasyQuoting never stores your credit card number or payment details.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties except:
- Firebase / Google Cloud — cloud infrastructure for data storage and authentication
- Stripe — payment processing for Pro subscriptions
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Vercel — application hosting
Each of these providers is bound by their own privacy policies and GDPR commitments.
6. Public share links
When you generate a public share link for a quote or estimate, that document becomes accessible to anyone with the link. You can revoke the link at any time from within the app. Public links are not indexed by search engines (we use noindex directives).
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Export your data (contact us to request an export)

8. Cookies
EasyQuoting uses only essential cookies required for authentication (Firebase Auth session cookies). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
9. Children's privacy
EasyQuoting is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us immediately.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated by email or via an in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
